Ministries - New Beginnings House
New Beginnings House, hosted by St. Paul’s UCC, provides a temporary supportive space when a local family faces traumatic upheaval.

Preparing for the Next Family
At the open house on Aug. 4, members of the mission house team gave tours of the newly refurbished house. Everything was donated by members of the church and community.
Meeting a Specific Need in the Fleetwood Community
New Beginnings House is a two-bedroom ranch style home serving one family at a time. The endeavor offers counseling, financial guidance, planning, and other customized services of support based upon the needs of the guest family. Each family served receives a hand up, not a hand-out. This outreach ministry hopes to help break the cycle of poverty or prevent a family from falling into it.
Since acquiring the property, we have served six local families in need of assistance. Successful completion of this mission is measured through life skills empowerment, improved financial stability, and independence as the strengthened family moves not just on, but up.

Strengthening the Community

New Beginnings House helps families heal and grow together with the support of a loving community. Helping others in this way is a powerful experience for our volunteers as well. It simply feels good to be a part of this important outreach!
