Rev. Dr. Rose Shepley began serving as Pastor of St. Paul’s in November 2025. She brings a heart for compassionate, inclusive ministry shaped by her background in chaplaincy, pastoral counseling, and trauma-informed spiritual care. Her work in theological ethics guides her preaching and pastoral presence, with particular attention to spiritual healing and honest, compassionate faith formation.
 

Pastor Rose is passionate about helping people of all ages explore faith with integrity and supporting communities as they grow, heal, and live out Christ’s love. She is also a writer and educator on religious trauma and spiritual assessment. Pastor Rose received her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Lancaster Theological Seminary, where her research centered on recognizing and responding to religious trauma, and she is ordained in the United Church of Christ. In addition to parish ministry, she serves the seminarian community as a Theological Writing Coach for the Moravian School of Theology.
