In the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:29-37), Jesus teaches that help comes from many places, and to sustain care, we do the work of tending. The United Church of Christ is committed to attending to the needs of ALL so that we may journey as one body with many members.
Grow in Faith
In this time of living out the life of the church in new ways, seek out these opportunities to BE THE CHURCH:

-
Worship leader or tech team member (helps to run Sunday slideshows, videos and soundboard, uploads recorded service to YouTube)
-

About our ministries
July 28-Aug 1: Our youth group traveled to Orland, Maine, through the non-profit H.O.M.E., Inc. They helped to rehab a house for a chronically homeless family.

Dedicated members of our congregation are active in numerous other community-based and outreach programs including the Fleetwood food pantry, the New Beginnings Mission House, Helping Hands, Prayer Shawl group, the Guild and Opportunity House in Reading, providing a meal each month to the 75 homeless residents.

Help refugees and others who are suffering in the world

As we hold in prayer the millions of people coping with crises in the U.S. and around the world, you can help right now. The United Church of Christ distributes donated funds directly to areas of the world in need of life-saving care.
