"Veiled In Christ" - (PHILEMON 1)
The drama portrayed in our text this morning could have been played
out in the Deep South in the early 18th century. A slave has run away from
his master and has found refuge in the hospitality of a family friend..

Onesimus is the slave. He is the house slave of a man named
Philemon. For reasons we do not know, Onesimus steals money from his
master, and fearing for his life, Onesimus runs away to Rome. Onesimus is in a lot of trouble, to say the least.
