2011 Ghana Mission Trip

St Paul's and Zion Blue Mountain UCC are forming a groupwill be traveling to Ghana Africa for 12 days, excorted by Pastor Pat and Pastor Sharon. the Morrises are quite famuiliar with the area and have developed an extensive relationship with quite a few local folk.
This experience will provide unique insight into the Ghana Culture and at the same time provide much needed medical and school supplies to the people in the area.
MISSION PURPOSE
Immerse ourselves in the culture of Ghanna by:

Being in fellowship with the people of Ghana

Worshipping with them

Learning about the country and her people

Developing and supporting various mission projects in the region

Visiting the country and experiencing the beauty of Ghana

Embracing our difference while celebrating our oneness in Christ
IMPORTANT 2010 ACTION DATES:

March 2010 - December 2010 - Obtain Passports

April 19, 2010 - Group Meeting

May 24, 2010 - Group Meeting - We will be firming up committments and a collecting $400.00 deposit to go toward airfare. After this deposit and firm committment, all future meetings will be MANDATORY for those traveling with us.

July 19, 2010 - Meeting - 2cnd deposit of $400.00 towards Airfare

September 27, 2010 - Meeting - 3rd Deposit of $400.00 towards Airfare

December 6, 2010 - Meeting - Final amount for airfare - TBD upon final cost assessment.

March 2011 - Group to go for Shots and Health & Hygeine Information

May 2011 - Collect groups passports, money to acguire visas - 2 week turnaround time.

June 21, 2011 - Depart JFK for Ghana

July 6, 2011 - Return to USA
